when it's only you that matters
 Great job GNKs for that wonderful performance ! Although aku tak main dengan korang, aku tompang gembira, dah kire okay lah tu. Hehehe. Heard that as many as 50 plus year ones freshies had signed up for Gamelan, not bad jugak ehh. So, alhamdulilah lah kan, clan GNKs semakin besar tahun ni. Yang penting, tahun baru, budak baru, Kawan kawan pun baru! :) 3 cheers for (G)amelan (N)aga (K)encana! Aniway, one week of school has passed already. Alhamdulilah, I can managed with the 5modules so far. The facis i got this time are okay, except for one that is. Pffffffffft! i bet the whole bunch of friends in W25H share my sentiments too. This Monday faci of mine, is oh so irritating to the max that i got a feeling imma going to miss most of his lessons for the next 14 weeks. Hahahahaha okay was just joking, i hope not. The rest are okay, i guess. There's those funny funny types, the Gerek types, and the female faci who I feel has a crush on Kenneth, that dude in my class. Heh. a little bit only the faci will say, ''Kenneth!'' Kenneth here, Kenneth there. Kenneth everywhere. i just hope that dude has a thing or two for Milf, like seriously. And yeah, i guessed my new classmates are a bunch of nice people afterall. There's a girl who has that cute pitch voice in my class and whenever she starts presenting, i'll be laughing and smiling to myself. Hahaha! Apologies my friend. I honestly wasn't literally laughing at you, but i really didnt expect anyone to have that cute kind of voice. Heh! and there's that dude whose a joker in class, which made the class lively. And Not to Forget, Joey! The first friend i made in W25H! my laughing buddy, and also she's the one who has been helping me whenever I go lost in class. Hahaha! And that guy, sham. Another smart dude who has been helping me as well. He ever showed me his grades for his last semester Problem solving module, if im not wrong, on the first day of school, and he got all freaking As for the whole 15weeks! Jealous sekejap sia aku. Haha. So yeah, thanks guys, the both of you! Everybody's starting to talk to each other, and laughing as a class. It's great to be a part of these bunch of friends, and i hope they'll be just as fun as my beloved W35F peoples! I guess that's all about today. I wanna go watch other episodes of airplanes crash investigations on youtube, interesting yet scary sia. sayonara all! oh wait, before i go, can i say something? Okay, as some of you may or may not know, syai sekarang ni kan... dah ader new hairstyle lurh sey! ohwells, maybe its nothing important to you, but heck, it's my own blog, my own entry okay? hahahaha! bukan itu sahje yer kawan kawan, syai punya rambut sekarang pun, dah ader warna sedikit! bukannye nak besar besarkan bende remeh temeh macam nih, but yeah it's my first time doing this kinda things, so macam sexcited gitu loh. And oh yah, I've had 1785463671 comments from my friends, on my new look. And all seems to agree that i look more cute *cough* with this new hairstyle. Hahaha! k dah, next please. Shoots! Did i mention that i totally forgot i am left with just 2 more days to enjoy before school reopens? See what happens when you get too busy with stuffs in life. Honestly, i wished it was just the start of the holidays, cause i really need to get plenty of rest to recharge myself before i'm mentally and physically prepared for the new semester. Heck, my holidays has been occupied with what else, but work and work and work and work and the intensive dikir trainings. And guess what? I've yet to check my class for the new semester. Apparently, i wanted when i saw most of my friend's FB statuses mentioning about their new class for the new semester. But the moment i went to LEO and it wrote that Leo is under maintenance, i gave up on it instantly. haha! i'll probably check my class the night before, if i'm not lazy that is. Whatever it is, no more fooling around this time for me. Will try my best to really concentrate this time round. sheesh! i hope i could make it through my second year. done with that. Let's move on to yang tak lain, dan tak bukan, the World Cup version of dikir barat. Last sunday was the official start of training for the Mega Perdana 2010 semifinals. I came down to the usual spot late, as i got caught up at work. There, we talked and laughed about whatever that has happened recently, and im glad to see that no one is being affected by all those comments. In aniway, set for semifinal dah ada, and now its back to trainings every 1, 3, 5, 6 day of the week and i hope i could commit myself to it since i know, my schedule will be damn packed with school, work, dikir trainings as well as GNK trainings. Not really complaining though, i hope that i'll be selected to play for the semis, and for chuchus to be the top8 to play for the Finals Mega Perdana 2o10. Insyaallah... By the way, chuchus yang turun training time sunday tu, ni kali lagu juara tahu macam mana susahnyer kan? hahaha.. so work hard okay. Jaga makan, minum, rokok dan lain lain yang sewaktu dengannyer yer. Let's go for the kill! and next on the list, Gamelan Naga Kencana. =) Wassup Nagas! First and foremost, im so super sorry for i have not been attending trainings during the holidays yer. Maklomlah, macam aku cakap, aku terlalu sebok dengan dikir and also kerje. Hari hari kerje, pagy sampai petang, kadang kadang tengah hari sampai petang, abeh lepas tu dikir, so it was really hard for me to commit and come down for trainings. And now, i dont think i can commit myself to Chillax, the next upcoming event for GNKs. My BTT falls on that day. i hope you all paham lah yer, i need to prioritize dikir because the biggest main event is on right now. work wise, i plan to save up my own kaaa-ching! to get myself my own bike, insyaalaah.. dah lah holidays, duit ayah mama tak bagi, so terpaksa lah kerje untuk duit jajan hari hari. The one or two trainings aku datang so far ni pun, pasal aku dapat balek cepat or dapat off. Aku rindu lah sehh ketawe mawe dengan korang korang semuer! especially Zul dengan B, hahahaha! Tapi tak mengape, dah bukak sekolah kan ni, i try to come down for trainings after school, provided it doesnt clash with dikir, that is. Sorry once again yer, to the commities as well as to each and every member of GNKs. and lastly... Outing with ex budak budak Peixin today! Had a so called mini reunion day out with my primary school friends, and hell yeah did i have a great time. Friends like Liyana, Salizah, my best buddy Farid, Aslam, Shameer, Syahid, Haithir and Iskandar came down to gather, and though some could not turn up last minute, we still had a fun time catching up with each other. Headed to Vivocity to meet Iskandar and then hang out there, took some pictures and then went off to yishun GV to catch ..  Date Night! A really awesome show with actions and comedy. i give it a 4/5 stars rating for it and i do recommend you guys to watch it okay. Yeah,once we're done with it, every one parted ways since some had to be home before 11. All in all, i had a great time with these peoples.Thanks for the day Friends! and oh! Before i forget, Salizah cepat sikit lah upload gambar! aku nak grab letak dekat blog aku lah. Hahaha! Let's plan another outing some time again okay, this time with more kawan kawan! :) aaah okay, i guess that's sums up for today's post. aper? cdm main macam andika?
'Before i write anything down here, please do note that i am merely penning down my thoughts and any relations to anyone is purely of coincidence. no harm intended. Okay Peace, No war!' Well, it seems that the tagboard is full of dramas and whatnots. from the standard well wishes for their respective favourite teams, to so many other irrelevant criticism posted by others. and now it seems chuchu dato' merah is hot on the news, seemingly about its own playing style and originality. Frankly, i wasnt bothered by people's comment on my own group. memang sudah lumrah joy, dengar kutukan ni semuer. but i have always believed in taking critism in a positive manner, to change it and hopefully, to progress better as a team. but it seems, things are becoming more out of control, sampai tak tahu aper yang aku nih boleh cakap. limit2, kiter nih buat bodoh aje. macam Tok selalu cakap, 'Mulut orang, mana boleh tutup. dorang boleh cakap aper yang dorang nak' . and we can choose to 'work on it, or just dont give a shit about it' . Though I have been playing for this team about what, 5 to 6 years now, I am still new and considered 'still raw' in this dikir barat world. And through each trainings, and each competitions i have been involved in, i am learning something new. " We learn more by looking for the answer to a question and not finding it than we do from learning the answer itself. ~Lloyd Alexander " I am also aware of the seemingly 'rivalry' between this group and that group etc, and that is something i just do not understand, up until today. back to the tagboard. Now, it seems people are talking about CDM's originality. well, these are what my own opinion about Chuchu's playing style and i hope you are able to respect my opinions, like how i do yours. Chuchu's playing style is simple, really! whenever we're up there on stage, there is only one aim on the back on every awok2, every percussions, and the two frontmens head : TO ENTERTAIN THE AUDIENCE. that's right. Like what Tok remind (or shout) to us, during trainings, CHANDI MAO LEBIH!! you don't give him that funny funny face, he give you an ' O-U-F OUT! ' Our top priority has always been the audience. we feel obliged to entertain them and ensure that their 12bucks spent is money well spent. it has always been that way, and will always be. Placings and individuals are not our main target, because we believed.. ' kalau dapat, bonus lah tu. ' These are some of the comments made by some: "Judge neutral kebabai!!!! Tgkla top 4 semua masing masing punyer group! " "cdm da mcm replica andika.Tuan presiden gabungan suker.I Loike! " "ah tulah cdm mcm samer je ngn andika. mane identiti sendiri??" "klau every grp ade cara dan identiti sendiri, org tk akn comment sal cdm samer ngn andika. nie da ternyata.." "sama tuh tak sama sangat la broooo...tapi gua prasan recently mcm tibe2 cdm nye Cara permainan berubah ke haluan Cara ac ilsapudih psd lepas.mcm hmm.maybe drg ade xchange programme kot.Ala ni Dari observation je per...cuba banding cara cdm Dari dulu.Dan Cara andika Dari dulu....nampak nye macam andika memang selalunye gitu...mungkin cdm da improve.kire okaela tuh...seni da maju." "and oh underdog?ala...semua sama ar.semua kumpulan Ada jatuh bangun sendiri.ni silap2 categori wanita jadi issue perbualan pulak kalau endang dengan Nira.sebabnya.pengasas cdm.Dan andika.apa jee" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. well, i did literally laugh out loud viewing each comments being made. but yeah, its somewhat good that people are talking about it, about CDM. well, at least they are taking their precious time, analysing Chuchu's performance and playing style, no? Okay, about chuchu seemingly playing like Andika's, i honestly feel that we do not have the same playing style. Andika's have their own cara mereka tersendiri, yang kiter pulaq menyampaikan persembahan kiter dengan cara unik yang tersendiri. Like i said previously, why do we do all that stupid funny faces up on stage when we can choose to play it differently? its because our dear Tok wants it to be that way. On a personal level, since i have been involved in every competitions chuchu has gone to, i must say, our playing style has always been the same ever since we, for the first time ever, managed to clinched first in Piala Senandung Rakyat V. And ever since then, we have been sticking to it. Maybe both Chuchu and Andika 'mempersembahkan' their different sets by making the audience laugh and stuff, but how the two teams choose to do it, is another thing altogether. You may think we looked stupid or even find it lame, but as long as the audience are laughing and clapped to acknowledge our 'persembahan' at the end of the day, i feel it is worth everything. Likewise, other 'Giant teams' like Keris choose to 'wow the crowd' with their 'superb ragam and excellent harmonising', Yenbo Je with their ' powerful vocal range' and Kelana Purba with their own unique style. So really, different groups have their own strength and weaknesses too, just like Chuchu Dato' Merah in Mega Perdana 2010. about the comment made by that someone who posted, "Judge neutral kebabai!!!! Tgkla top 4 semua masing masing punyer group!" it just goes to show how much you trust the credibilty of the judges. to set the record straight, there is NO judge yang 'orang CDM'. Even if there really is, are you saying Chuchu Dato' Merah got through to the semi not based on merit? well sir, maybe you feel we do not deserve to be among the top11 progressing to the semifinal stage, but i do think that we did enough to justify our spot in that semifinal, and that i have complete faith in the judges to ensure who really deserves to be in the semifinal, and then the finals of Mega Perdana 2010. Likewise, i know teams like Andika, Yenbo Je, Kelana Purba and the rest got through because of sheer hard work, and not because of 'judge ni orang dier, mesti lah kumpulan nih masok.' and there is really one more topic which brought me to my attention, about Endang and CDM. (nih pulaq, aper citer ni..) To say Endang is under Chuchu Datuk Merah is not true at all. the fact is, Hairil and Nafis are the intsructors of Endang, like what you people say it, 'tolong tunjuk ajar diorang'. itu sahaja. they have never been a part of us, nor will it be that way and i dont really understand why this topic about Endang and CDM had to be popped up by people. i have to say Endang has improved by leaps and bounds and i can confidently say they are finally ready to stand on their own feet. On a personal level, I like the comment posted by someone nicknamed, Francis Fukuyama, which goes like this : " Pada satu hari, seni nih akan mati.. dan yg hidup hanyalah beberapa kumpuian.. pada masa itu, mereka akan berdamai demi memastikan seni dikir yang bagaikan nyawa ikan, akan terus hidup.. tatkala masa itu datang, baru semua akan terbuka mata dan mindanya, dan mengesali akan perbalahan antara sesama yg wujud pada masa ini.. " I guessed, whatever he/she is saying does make sense after all, yeah? before this happened, lets put a stop to all this nonsense. why cant we for once, stop being a hypocrite and talk bad about other teams, and instead, clap for the wonderful performance and say, 'damn, they're good!' even if they are not from our own group? Lebih mulia geng kalau kiter bersatu padu, bersama2 memajukan seni dudaya kiter yang tercinta. macam kumpulan durba dua cakap, 'tuntut ilmu zaman berzaman, beza cara tujuan sama.' Last but not least, to the 11 teams going through to the semifinals, Yenbo Je, Kelana Purba, Andika, D'Tour, Wulan, Dendang Mutiara, Putera Dewa, Keris, Tumpat, Hikayat Putera Emas and last but not least, my own ChuchuDato' Merah, congrats on making it through the Saringan stage. I wish you all the very best on the 9th of May alright. To kumpulan Durbar Dua, Krakatoa as well as Raja Muda, i am pretty sure you all did your very best on that day, but i guess, it's just wasn't enough. but it's okay! berlambak lagy competition yang akan datang okay. Okaylah, i guess that's about everything that i have to say. I sincerely thank you for taking the time to read my post and my opinions on the debates that has been ongoing so far prior to Mega Perdana 2010. HOLLA PEOPLE! =) hahaha. im back to do some blogging after a while. Maklomlah, syai ni baru jer ader mase free kan. haha. yeah, So many things happened over at the weekends, that i don't know where to start actually. haha. First thing first, did i mention im finally done with my class 2A practical lessons? woohoo!! yeah, the last assessment i passed with 10points, which means i can now book for my TP. YESSAH! hahaha. so yearp, 18 May is THE day, hopefully i will not forget. =_____=" and once i have secured that piece of shit, imma turn my attention on Class 3 pulaq. In the mean, imma saving my own ka-chiing! to get myself my own vrooooooom !

okay, two good news and one bad news for today. the first good news is, I am being selected in the chuchu's top 14, which means i'll be there up on stage with chuchu. alhamdulilah. Although, something which i least expected to happened had happened. i am just glad that i get to be involved. second good news is that, I've pass my second practical lesson, which happened on last tuesday. And so, its two practical lesson down, last practical lesson to go, before i book for my TP. and believe it or not, it is tomorrow. so wish me luck okay friends. and the bad news is that, i am currently having a fever. sigh. fever + cough + pening kepala + random shivers and whatnots. to think im getting it now. when i have many important things happening over the weekends. and my temperature keeps maintaining at 39degrees celcius. i hope it wont affect my performance. so, im doing everything i can to get myself well in time. i guess that's all for today. happy good friday everyone.. |
